Political Analyst Offers Non-Partisan Centrist Voter Assistance

Omaha, Neb. – “Forty three percent of all voters are so disgusted by both Democrats and Republicans that they identify themselves as Independents. A recent Gallup/USA Today poll found that 58% of the respondents wished there were a viable third party to vote for,” says author and political analyst Larry R. Bradley. “Centrist voters are unhappy with the choices they have and looking for a way to get what they want instead of taking what they’re offered.”

Kindred Minds Enterprises announced today a voter assistance service by the author of Neither Liberal Nor Conservative Be: An Action Plan for People Disgusted by Polarized Politics. Larry R. Bradley will provide an analysis of each of the Presidential candidates using criteria from his book. “We’re offering a better approach voters will find very helpful,” said Bradley.

Asked why voters are so dissatisfied, Bradley cited these examples: The nation is over $9 Trillion in debt (which, if apportioned equally among all Americans would mean each would owe almost $30,000 total to pay off the debt), corkscrewed into a war it seems unable to win or withdraw from, and apparently cannot build levees or bridges that will stand the strain of modern life. “If this is what you’re getting from the people you elect,” said Bradley, “maybe it’s time to rethink how you make your voting choices.”

Asked for the specifics of what the public could expect from Bradley’s analysis, Bradley noted the following. “American voters today are focused on issues and personalities. That makes them vulnerable to the manipulation of polarized politics. We want to reorient voters to a ‘principles and outcomes’ focus that will make them resistant to manipulation and better able to pick candidates who have a greater chance of solving our problems.”

Many centrist voters express difficulty in choosing among candidates and Bradley wants to provide them an understandable system to help make their voting choices easier.  Bradley’s system is based on the principles of fiscal prudence, social tolerance, and limited government coupled with the toughest National Defense possible. He will also assess intangibles such as character, competence and credibility. Rather than making a specific recommendation for a voting choice, Bradley will post an overall score and let voters apply their own judgment. Voters can find the information on Bradley’s blog at www.TheCenterStrikesBack.com.

Bradley rebuffed the notion that his analysis is too early. “If the 43% want a choice in candidates, then they must participate in the Primary Elections starting in January. They cannot leave the choice to the hard core zealots in the two parties for the primaries and expect to be able to choose between moderate candidates focused on solutions, not slime, in November, 2008.”

His book is available at most local bookstores and online at www.KindredMindsEnt.com.
