Dick Morris' Take: Where the Republican Candidates Stand Now

Morris' analysis is an interesting contrast to Urban Conservative's.

Urban Conservative liked Romney's performance.

Candidly, I felt Romney clearly showed his lack of qualification to be Commander in Chief in his exchange with John McCain over waterboarding and torture. If you have the debate recorded, go back to that exchange and watch Romney's eyes. While he asserts the answer he has drilled himself to give on waterboarding his eyes dart from McCain to the audience and back looking for support. This is not a man speaking from personal belief and conviction. This is a man speaking lines from a prepared script. I intend to look at his postions more thoroughly, but I will tell you I think he is a face man who tells people what they want to hear. While he does have a clear record of financial and executive achievement, I simply do not believe he is suited to be a Commander in Chief.

Morris details why Romney is sliding back in the polls and who is taking points from him and why.
