An Iraqi Fait Accompli
Read this article in conjunction with our postings about being in Iraq until 2018 and Gen McCaffrey's trip report. Whoever the next President is likely to have their options in Iraq severly restricted.
Those members of congress who enabled this President by failing to make him accountable should be very much at risk to keep their jobs this fall. The reality is that most of them have safe gerrymandered districts and that's why they have behaved as they have.
