I disagree with some of Morris' analysis, but he does make a couple of good points. Among my disagreements is that Bloomberg has superior national defense credentials over other Republican candidates because Bloomberg "has extensive experience fighting terrorism in New York City." That's one REMF's opinion of another REMF.
National Defense credentials means understanding the Principles of War, having a sense of the capabilities and needs of the military, and demonstrating the preference for the fact that the peak of war fighting skill is being able to win without fighting.
