Cards that Divide Us--Opinion: USA Today.com

We discovered today from reading the USA we picked up in our overnight stay in KC that USA Today is doing a biweekly column called Common Ground about bridging the partisan divide in Washington.

Today's entry is from Cal Thomas and Bob Beckel. The "Cards" they are talking about are race and religion. They point out, rightly so, that the candidate who will win will be the one who can establishe the largest common ground with voters.
