From Dick Morris: A 'No' to Slime
Dick Morris is no friend of the Clintons and this analysis of Kennedy's endorsement of Obama is heavy in its message of repudiation for what he feels is the slimy nature of the Clintons' campaigning methods.
This causes me to voice something else that may be more than a coincidence.
In 2004, I observed a sinister email smear campaign about John Kerry. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of responding to one of those emails with my own rebuttal and immediately got dropped from the mailing list. One of the ways you could recognize those emails was by its ending. While the content would have a sort of folksy, "aw, shucks" kind of tone, the emails would end with, "If you agree, pass it on. If you disagree, then please delete." This reveals the professional voice behind the folksy veneer.
Funny, but I'm seeing those type of emails again. Only those emails are not about Kerry, they're about Obama. They claim Obama is not Christian, but Muslim; that he refuses to pledge allegiance to our flag. Obama, to his credit, has a spot on his web site (unlike Kerry, who was cluelessly unwired) to be alerted to those type of emails and to reply to them quickly and forcefully. (By the way, if you see any of those kind of emails, then please forward them to author@KindredMindsEnt.com. We'd like to see them.)
Here's what seems to me to be a funny coincidence. I saw far fewer of those type emails in 2006 when no Clinton was running nationally for office. In 2004, had Kerry won he would be the incumbant now in this election. He would be hard for another Democrat to defeat. That would have meant that Hillary would have had to wait until 2012 to run for President and she would have had to choose between running for her Senate seat or for President.
Do I have any proof that the Clintons supported the smear email campaign against Kerry or Obama? Absolutely not. I'm just noting the coincidence that comes from my memory banks.
Read Morris' article for yourself and see if it doesn't line up with what I'm saying.
