E. J. Dionne Jr.: Culture Wars? How 2004
Dionne is trying to make the case in his Washington Post column that culture wars will not be a factor in our 2008 election. I doubt it. What you are seeing so far is the calm before the storm. Dionne does make reference to the election of 1932, as I have, but his slant is different from my own. Still, he makes some good points with good writing. See for yourself.
