Message from Tim Cox at GOOOH
2010
While we have made phenomenal progress to date, attracting over 80,000 visitors to our site and telling our story on talk-radio in more than 50 cities across the nation, we did not land the knockout punch we had hoped for. However, we consider 2008 nothing more than Round One, and as we shift our focus to 2010, we will only become stronger.
We have proven that our plan resonates with the American people, and success is simply a function of getting enough patriots to know that GOOOH exists. Next election, instead of starting with a team of twelve as we did this year, we will start with an army of thousands.
Success in 2008 was dependent upon securing a national speaking engagement by the end of March, but that opportunity did not materialize. We could blame it on the unprecedented Democratic primaries, the Ron Paul effect, our lack of funding, or setting our goals too high, but blame is of course irrelevant. What is important is that we continue building upon our base and maintain the momentum we have established.
With every new patriot we add, our chance of success will improve. Rome was not built in a day, nor was our country's freedom won overnight. We can succeed, but it will take time and your ongoing support.
Our mission is monumental, but we all know it is desperately needed. Our country will not remain the greatest the world has ever known and our children will not have the same opportunities with which we have been blessed if we do not take action. With your help we can retake control of our government and put our nation back on the right track. Now, we have two more years to garner the support we need.
We hope you will tell every person you meet about GOOOH, and that you will continue to support the effort with your donations. We will use your contributions to promote and support GOOOH in preparation for 2010. To those who would like a refund, we will return your donation as promised. Simply send a refund request by April 21st to goooh@goooh.com.
Moving forward, we need to solidify our position on a few issues and would like your input. The time has come for the members of GOOOH to weigh in on whether or not we should exclude any group from the candidate selection process, and to decide if mandatory support of term limits is appropriate. Please take a few minutes to complete this very short survey (ten yes-or-no questions).
The plan is in place. The system is built. All we need are enough patriots to step forward. We look forward to the 2010 challenge, and with your continued efforts we will succeed!
Sincerely,
Tim Cox
