Bill O'Reilly's Column: Confronting Hillary
We thought you might like to see what Bill has to say about his interview with Senator Clinton.
Bill notes that, "Polls show that most Americans are fed up with exorbitant medical costs and a callous insurance industry. So, any presidential candidate that offers relief from this mess will get a hearing. "
Isn't part of the reason medical costs are so exorbitant the fact that medical service providers must price their services to account for the reality of so many who do not have health insurance and cannot afford to pay even a moderate bill?
To a certain degree, we need to treat medical insurance as we do car insurance. If you drive a car, then you should have car insurance. If you drive more expensive cars or have a history of behaving irresponsibly, then you should pay more. Hence, we must tell 20-somethings who think they are bullet-proof that they must divert part of their income to health insurance as part of the cost of being a responsible adult.
Just some thoughts in addition to Bill's.
