On the Radio with Harry Douglas
Harry has a new movement he's generating for this political year. One of its key aspects is focused around the thought of "won't be fooled again." I want to explore this with Harry in more depth.
If you say you "won't be fooled again", then that means you think you were fooled. And doubtless there are a lot of people who have that feeling for this election. So I hope we can talk about what makes Harry think he was "fooled". What did he think he was getting with his last vote and what did he get instead? What was the thought process he used last time? What is the thought process he is using this time?
Harry has read my book, so we should be able to relate these thoughts to the book and be on the same page.
Understand this. The problems we have in deciding who to vote for in 2008 are the same ones we have had every two years for a long time. We are going to continue to be forced to choose between the lesser of two evils until we make a decision to modify how we do our politics.
That means my book is as relevant today as when I published it for the 2006 election and would have been relevant for the 04 and 02 elections, too. That relevance is reflected in my rankings on Amazon today.
