Hagel: Bush Troop Levels Belie Claims

"President Bush’s order to wait until February to withdraw 8,000 U.S. combat troops from Iraq “doesn’t square with claims of great success in Iraq,” Sen. Chuck Hagel said Thursday.
Bush’s announcement this week means he’s “not going to withdraw (any additional troops) while he’s still in office,” Hagel said.
