Here is a good example of what happens when the so called "media filter" is applied and allows us to see the full range of facts for ourselves and not the illusion created by the Spin.

The article also points up the phenomenon of marginal tax rates. Marginal tax rates means you might pay 15% tax on income to a certain level. Once you get past that level, you might pay (for example) 20% on the amount above that level. You do not pay 20% on your entire income.
