One of the most popular entries in my blog is one from Men's Journal with Robert Baer. The ex-CIA agent has a new book out discussing Iran and our options in dealing with the them from the United States' point of view.

Readers should understand a military solution to Iran is the absolute last we should pursue. Simply bombing Iran will not work. If you decide to bomb, then you must occupy the country. We've seen how well that has worked out with Iraq. Iran would require even larger amounts of manpower than Iraq and we are overburdened with the limited amount of manpower we provided in Iraq.

Sounds like a good book to read and consider.
