This article is like a "Greatest Hits" CD. Here you have cataloged all the most prominent smears and rumors about the two predominant Presidential candidates.
For those of you who say, "Why doesn't the main stream media report on these?", here's your answer.
Journalistic standards say the media are only supposed to publish what they can prove. In this case, they are publishing what they have proven they can't prove.
Note the stories about Obama outnumber the ones about McCain by 20 to 1. Doubtless some will say this indicates the untrustworthiness of Obama. Others will say this indicates the campaign style of his opponents and their inablility to campaign based on their track record. I favor the latter.
We should be choosing based on the reality of performance and the logic of which candidate offers the best solutions to the problems we face. Once elected, we should compare what was promised with what was achieved.
Isn't that better than deciding based on baseless accusations?
