This is another Amazon Discussion Group I have been following and posting in from time to time. I'm posting it here for several reasons. One is the tone of the discussion. It's in the History section rather than the political, so it doesn't have the snarky partisanship you find in other places. Instead, it's more like a dispassionate autopsy discussion analyzing the results. Those who insist on that approach are either ignored or otherwise encouraged to go elsewhere.

There are a lot of posts (which may be a bit daunting) and a lot of differing points of view expressed well.

Also, the orientation is what do we need to do better. This is the kind of dialogue we need.
