Senator Bernie Sanders--The Failed Prophet
I invite you to read the comment Jim posted most recently here. The comment was good and so was the link.
There's a lot of hyperventilating going on at that link about how far left Obama is.
There's also a lot of hyperventilating going on at Daily Kos and Common Dreams (see the links at the left) that Obama isn't left enough.
Overall, that may be a sign that Obama may be threading the needle down the middle.
One of the sayings of Jim Rohn I have found to be both profound and true is this. "When I was age 25, broke and behind on my big mouth promises to my wife and my kids, it never would have occurred to me to blame my philosophy. Then I met a man named Earl Shoaf who changed my philosophy. And when I changed my philosophy, everything changed for me."
I contend we have been using the wrong philosophy politically. Look what that philosophy has resulted in. Yet we still debate using the wrong philosophy. I contend, like Jim Rohn, that if we will change our philosophy, then everything will change for us.
At the link below is an essay by Independent Senator Bernie Sanders exposing why the philosophy we have been using is a bad one.
