Is Israel Jewish?

When you read my title, I'm sure your first reaction was to snicker and think to yourself something like, "Is the Pope Catholic?"

But the truth is that Israel is increasingly being populated by both non-Jews and non-Arabs. One wonders what effect that could have on their politics.

One of Harry Douglas' frequent callers sent me the link to the following article with this commentary.

Thanks tor the education, Mike.

"From the beginning it was not the Mizarhi nor the Shefardi Jews who were the aggressors but the secular and messionic ashkenazi Jews .

The ashkenazi's have very little genetic similarities with the other 2 groups and even less with the indigenous inhabitants of the area but more in common with the west-central asian groups(biblicaly, Ashkenaz was the grandson of Ja'pheth not Shem).

My mother was the daughter of a Rabbi, the granddaughter of a Rabbi and the greatgrand daughter through 12 generations."
