Thomas Frank Says Wall Street Hyperconsumption Mocked American Values
I have been reading Thomas Frank's The Wrecking Crew and found it fascinating. Expect me to post a review here and on Amazon shortly.
I also wrote today and requested Mr. Frank come on Car Concerns with Harry Douglas and I to discuss the book.
In the process of doing that, I found this editorial by Mr. Frank published in the Wall Street Journal. An attitude exists in this country of "I have more money than you. Therefore, I am superior to you and my feces doesn't stink like yours." Frank captures the essence of the attitude with this article.
