Obama's Ban on Torture: Minnesotans Played a Role
Mike BenMoshe, one of our regular listeners to Car Concerns, sent me this excellent article about the basis for President Obama's Executive Order banning torture.
As with so many things, let's remember the basic laws of economics. If there is no demand, then there will be no supply. If our attractions creates a demand for retribution towards us, then the enemy gains a supply of terrorists. If our actions creates no demands for retribution towards us, then the enemy is unable to grow their numbers. The few who exist can eventually be found and dealt with. Terrorism then dies.
Remember ten soldiers are required to fight one terrorist. Every soldier and their equipment and support must be paid for by our tax dollars.
