Owing to Harry Douglas' last minute trip to Detroit to attend a conference, Larry hosted Car Concerns on April 21, 2009. This is Larry's first time as lead host on the show.

Unfortunately, in Harry's absence the segement of tthe program with Tim didn't get recorded. Larry's second guest, Max Skidmore, was recorded for the last two thirds of the second hour. Max is the Thomas Jefferson Chair of the Political Science Department at the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
