Frank Rich: The Banality of White House Evil
OK, by now you know the drill. It's Sunday and I'm trying to catch up posting articles I've saved in the past.
One reason I'm posting this is the references Rich has in the article. For example, he has a link describing the released memos regarding torture.
If you're looking for a reference point, find a copy of Judgement at Nuremburg (the movie). If you win the war, then you get to say what the rules are. You get to say what's legal and illegal. Consistency says if you're going to say some approach is illegal and then do that activity and say it's not the same because you do it.
Here's the link.
