Commentary by Ryan Sager of Neuroworld
Ryan Sager has an interesting piece on his Blog today. I, along with at least two other readers, took issue with the assertion "If they believe what they’re saying, no matter who helped organize them, they’re citizens and activists. The language at the town halls may get ugly and rough. But it’s not Astroturf." By "they" Ryan is refering to people who attend town hall meetings.
My objection goes back to the saying (attributed to various authors) that "You are entitled to your own opinion, but not your own set of facts." I fear far too much of what passes for dialogue these days is based on erroneous facts.
Still the article is worthwhile and I recommend it. His book title is intriguing, too.
