Another Example of the Revolving Door

Here is a report of a consultant being brought back into the government with an "ethics waiver" to investigate why the alleged Christmas Day Al Qaeda bomber did not get put on a watch list or no fly list and was allowed to get on the flight.

To me, this is another example of the revolving door of people who serve for a while in government and then use the expertise they gain to join some sort of contracting firm and get back into consulting for the government for more money. If you know you're going to be part of an organization, then you have a stake (for the sake of your own personal well being and piece of mind if nothing else) in making things run better. No one wants to go to a job they hate. This is another example of the taxpayer being forced to pay retail cost for something they should be paying a wholesale cost for, IMHO.
